New Park Opens in Town
Last Saturday, a new park opened in the centre of our town. Hundreds of people came to see it. The mayor cut a red ribbon at ten o’clock in the morning, and then children ran to play on the new equipment.
The park has a large playground, a small lake, and many trees and flowers. There is also a path for people who like to walk or run. The project took two years to finish and cost two million ringgit.
“This park is a gift for our children and families,” the mayor said. “It is a green place for everyone to enjoy.” The park is open every day from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Entry is free.
