One Saturday, my friend Tariq and I decided to go on a bike ride. The morning was sunny, so we did not take our coats. We rode our bikes far into the countryside, past green fields and small farms. We were having a wonderful time.

But in the afternoon, the sky suddenly became dark. Big grey clouds appeared, and it started to rain heavily. We were far from home and we had no coats. We were cold and wet, and we did not know what to do. Then Tariq saw an old barn near the road, and we ran inside to hide from the rain.

We waited in the barn for an hour. To pass the time, we told jokes and laughed about our bad luck. Finally, the rain stopped and the sun came out again. We rode home slowly, wet but happy. Now, we always check the weather before a bike ride! It was a day we will never forget.
