A Trip to the Beach
Read about a family day at the beach. A simple A1 story about a trip, with key words and questions.
Last Saturday, my family and I went to the beach. It was a hot, sunny day. We left home early in the morning. My father drove the car for one hour.
At the beach, the sand was soft and yellow. The sea was blue and warm. My brother and I made a big castle from sand. Then we ran into the water and played. My mother sat under a big umbrella and read a book.
At lunch time, we ate sandwiches and fruit. In the afternoon, we found small shells on the sand. I took five white shells home. We were tired but happy. It was a wonderful day at the beach.
