My Town
Read about a small town and the places in it. A simple A1 text about places, with key words and questions.
I live in a small town. It is a quiet and friendly place. There are about ten thousand people here. I like my town very much.
In the centre of the town, there is a big square. Around the square, there are shops, a café and a small library. Near my house, there is a school and a green park. In the park, there are trees, birds and a small lake.
My town does not have a cinema or a big shopping centre. For that, we go to the city. But my town has clean air and kind people. On Friday, there is a market in the square. People sell fruit, vegetables and clothes. I am happy to live here.
