Two years ago, my uncle gave me an old camera. At first, I did not think I would use it much. But one afternoon, I took it to the park and started taking photographs of trees, birds and the sky. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. That was the beginning of my new hobby.

Since then, photography has become an important part of my life. I take my camera everywhere. I love to capture small moments: a cat sleeping in the sun, rain on a window, or an old man feeding birds. Photography teaches me to look at the world more carefully.

Last month, I entered one of my photos in a school competition. It was a picture of the sunrise over the sea. To my great surprise, I won second prize! My teacher put my photo on the wall. Now I dream of becoming a professional photographer one day. A simple gift changed my life.
