It is Saturday. The Tan family is at the market. The market is big and there are many things to buy. Mother wants to buy fruit and vegetables. She buys apples, bananas and tomatoes.
Father wants to buy fish for dinner. The fish is fresh and not expensive. The children, Mei and Jun, want ice cream. “After we finish shopping,” says Mother.
They walk around the market for one hour. The bags are heavy now. Finally, they all eat ice cream together. It is a good day.
